The Band

Greg Grieves

Grieve for Tomorrow Made in Germany and Born in Monterrey Bay California in 1986, Greg has been writing and performing since the age of 10, when he was inspired by his older brothers to pick up the Saxophone and eventually the guitar at 13. At the age of fourteen he started his first band, called "My Paranoia" which later became "Eternal Lie". During high school, Greg played Alto, Tenor & Baritone Saxophone in concert band, guitar in jazz band, and guitar and vocals in "Eternal Lie". After graduation, with the encouragement of his family, he joined the United States Air Force. Returning as a reservist in the Air Force, he reformed "Eternal Lie" which broke up just three months later. He then formed the band "Katharsis" which was subsequently offered a contract with Interscope in 2006. This success was short-lived and was put on hold when he received the news that he was being deployed to Iraq. After being mortared, rocketed, fired-up, and dealing with near-death experiences, he finally returned home to find that his band was having obstacles of their own. He and his brother Dan cleaned house and gave "Katharsis" another shot but unfortunately it had run its course. In 2007, Greg then co-founded the band "Grieve for Tomorrow". As the band's leader, Greg's brilliant, ingenious, guitar, vocal, and lyric arrangements, along with his eclectic stage presence, riding on his multi-layered guitar style, give "Grieve for Tomorrow" its heart and soul.

T-Rev

Born in Southern California in1990, Trevor knew from a very early age, working as an actor, that the stage was to be his destiny. He grew up in a musical environment studying keyboards, guitar and music theory throughout his school years. As a talented script-writer and lyricist his path in the entertainment world seemed to be set. Drawing influence from bands such as 30-Seconds to Mars, Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, and A Day to Remember, at 19 he began pursuing his vocal craft in earnest, getting singing and screaming lessons from Susan Carr and others. While going to Pinnacle College, where he graduated as a certified Sound Engineer, he put an ad in Myspace classifieds in November 2009 as a "Singer looking for a Band". A few weeks later he was contacted by, and soon joined, his first band, "Grieve for Tomorrow". His high-energy engaging showmanship, incredible vocal range, trained musical background, and lyric writing skills make him the perfect "Grieve for Tomorrow" Front-Man, complimenting the already strong harmonies and brilliant melodic arrangements that make this band the powerhouse that it is

Alex Agony

A California native, born in 1988, his mom an East LA Sheriff, he literally grew up on the 'right side' of the bars, surrounded by law enforcement. Alex found music in 2001, in high school, playing trumpet in the Symphonic, Marching and Jazz bands. During his freshmen year, needing a little more, he took up the bass guitar and a year later electric guitar. In his senior year he helped found a Pop/Punk Rock band named "Cover Up Camio", which evolved into a Pop/Hardcore/Electronica project. His love for guitar started at age 15 while playing NASCAR thunder. He heard the song Chapter Four by "Avenged Sevenfold" and knew that that was what he needed to do. After five years with "Cover Up Camio" as a bass player, he started looking for another band so that he could stretch his legs on guitar. He auditioned for, and landed the position as lead guitarist in "Grieve for Tomorrow" . Alex's searing style, signature riffs and sound, compliment the guitar driven arrangements "Grieve for Tomorrow" is known for, and his solid, engaging, stage presence round out the personality-filled band.

Jason

Born somewhere in Southern California, Jason Johnston, at the age of 12, discovered drums. The world will never be the same. An accomplished drummer even at this early age, Jason joined Symphonic band at school and discovered the colorful world of "percussion". Continuing his formal music education on through high school, he played drum-set and percussion in Jazz, Symphonic, and Marching Band, along with a hard-core side project that supplied him with that necessary, soothing dose of Heavy Rock. After High School, Jason played with a half a dozen different bands, drumming brilliantly in a variety of styles, until finally, in 2011, bored with his current project, and looking for that vehicle to fame and success, he came across a fateful ad on Craigslist. That ad, of course, was for Grieve for Tommorrow. He answered the ad, and within the first few minutes of the audition, it was obvious that the G4T family had found its lost son. They were up and performing in less than a week, and in Jason's own words…"I now rock balls off with these gentlemen." His Classical, Jazz, Marching, and even Country experience have melded to make Jason one of the most powerful and accurate drummers in the current rock scene. His wide range of rhythmic styling, tonal diversity, and blinding speed (hands and feet), along with a quirky, intense personality, make him the perfect foundation for G4T. "Party"

Danny T

Born in 1984, in Germany, a military brat. At Nine years old Dan was playing Trumpet, Tuba, and Trombone in the school band. Starting in middle-school, Dan spent the next five years taking lessons on guitar and bass. Switching to upright bass in his freshman year of high school, he set the tone for the future. Still playing trumpet in high school jazz band, it became obvious that his grasp of music theory and innate ability on the upright and electric bass left him better suited as a bass player. Before pursuing a music scholarship at the University of Nevada, Reno, an accident left him with two fingers permanently damaged on his right hand. At this he made the decision to enter the Air Force. Upon returning to civilian life, he continued to play the bass while working as an elevator mechanic. Dan soon joined the signed metal band "Katharsis" where he debuted as a co-writer/lead vocalist/bassist. Katharsis, as most bands seem to do, dissolved with the loss of members and resurfaced with core members Greg and Dan Steward as "Grieve for Tomorrow" His influences span all ranges of music from the "Beatles" to "Trivium" . A talented writer, his educated, rock-solid style, and powerful stylized voice, along with his stoic, serious, stage presence lend an air of stability to this band's foundation and make it difficult at times to watch anyone else.
